System Requirements
This section covers the hardware requirements, software installation, and configuration of the Gateway platform components. It is for those who need to deploy and manage the Gateway and are in the following roles:
Storage system administrators
Network administrators
Technical architects
The administrators are responsible for allocating storage, managing capacity, monitoring storage system health, replacing malfunctioning hardware, and adding additional capacity when needed. Network administrators are responsible for TCP/IP switching, routing, load balancing, and firewall setup. Herein, these different roles are referred to as administrators.

This section assumes familiarity with the deployment and management processes for Swarm Administration and provides knowledge of TCP/IP networking, basic x86 hardware setup, and intermediate Linux system administration.
