FileFly 3.0 Release Notes

The 3.0 release of FileFly features an improved, non-expiring licensing system, includes three new popular plugins, and adds support for the new Community Edition.

Important

Licenses for previous versions do not work with FileFly 3.0, and newly created 3.0 licenses do not work with previous versions of FileFly.

Upgrade notes

Windows Migration Agents — Policy execution is suspended on Windows migration agents until they are restarted (client demigration continues to function as normal during this period) upon upgrading to this version.

NetApp FPolicy Servers (Cluster-Mode) — To benefit from improved FPolicy screening, configuration should be re-applied to NetApp Filers via the FileFly NetApp Cluster-mode Config tool's "Vservers" tab.
