Uploading large files via S3 produces an MD5 digest mismatch with Cyberduck v4.7.0.17432

THIS KB IS OUTDATED AND WILL BE REMOVED. AS OF GATEWAY 5.1.3 YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DISABLE MULTIPART IN CYBERDUCK AND YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE AN ERROR ABOUT ETAG MISMATCH. SEE:

HTTPS://SUPPORT.CARINGO.COM/INDEX.PHP?/KNOWLEDGEBASE/ARTICLE/VIEW/532/0/USING-THE-CYBERDUCK-APPLICATION-WITH-CONTENT-GATEWAY-S3 [https://support.caringo.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/532/0/using-the-cyberduck-application-with-content-gateway-s3]

This is a bug in cyberduck v4.7.0.17432 in their multi-part uploader code.

The file actually gets uploaded correctly but the digest verification fails. This error can be ignored.

The last known version to work is v4.6.5

If you wish to stay with Cyberduck v4.7 , you can disable the multi-part upload option by adding

<setting name="s3.upload.multipart" value="false"/>

to the following file on windows 7/8:

C:UsersYOUR_NT_USERNAMEAppDataRoamingiterate_GmbHCyberduck.exe_Url_y3p2ebapuyakx1wepw5uc1dcj54dho4b4.7.0.17432/user.config
