The Swarm Content UI is Gateway's cloud interface to Swarm-based content. The Content UI simplifies content management (such as creating tenants and storage domains and adding custom metadata tags for searching), and it enables end users to browse and upload content directly from a browser.
Rename Objects — The Content UI now allows you to rename an object and its pseudo path, if any. Renaming a versioned object has the effect of marking the existing object as deleted and creating a new object using the new name. The rename dialog alerts you to this behavior if the object being renamed is versioned. (UIC-293)

Delete Versioned Objects — The Content UI allows precise control over deleting versioned objects, so the object can be deleted (which can be restored), delete the current version from the history, or delete the object entirely, including the version history. (UIC-301)

Fixed: Deleting an object appeared to succeed despite the user lacking delete permission; refreshing the browser revealed that the object was not deleted. (UIC-317)
Known issue:
After upgrading the Content UI (Portal) and/or Storage UI, the cache must be cleared to get the new version. Either shift-Reload the page or clear the browser cache, then verify the About page shows the new version. A logout does not fix it nor is it necessary. (UIC-222)
A COPY on an erasure-coded object does not succeed if it requests a Content-MD5. This issue affects the Metadata Editor. (SWAR-7980)
Metadata Editor — The Content UI now allows you to edit object metadata directly in the UI. While applications have always been able to edit object metadata, this new interface enables users to correct and extend metadata from the UI. When you select Edit Metadata from the object's detail view, each editable metadata field (such as x-acme-meta-color) appears with writable fields, from where you can change its value (red to blue) or remove it entirely. You can also add new metadata headers and values. (UIC-132)

Delete Object Versions — The Content UI supports precise deletions of one or all historical versions of a given versioned object. If an object is versioned, Delete All to remove the current and all historical versions, or Delete the selected version to remove the current or any prior versions. (UIC-252)

New Access Policy Editor — The Content UI Settings > Permissions pages now include an Access Policy Editor, which is an interactive policy editor for creating and updating permissions (access control policies) for a given tenant, domain, or bucket, greatly simplifying the process. The editor presents selections for quickly adding the most commonly needed policies (such as public read-only and authorized user full access) as well as options for designing granular access for users and groups. Safeguards help protect from unintended consequences, such as denying access to All Authorized Users, which has the effect of locking out the Owner as well. (CLOUD-2802)

The Content Gateway RPM package has changed from "caringo-cloudgateway" to "caringo-gateway". (CLOUD-2728)
